Notes for legal review
These are not part of the document: they list what must be reviewed before it is published.
- Translation. This page is an unofficial translation of the Spanish notice, which prevails. Whenever legal updates the Spanish text, this translation is updated too (or withdrawn); legal also decides whether an English version is published at all.
- Who the data controller is. Management decided it is Instituto Farmacéutico, S. de R.L. de C.V., the same legal name that signs the site's footer and the terms. The 2020 original belonged to Instituto de Investigación e Innovación Farmacéutica, A.C. (“also known as Instituto Farmacéutico, A.C. or IIIFAC”); here it says “also known as INEFAM” and “the service INEFAM provides to you”. Confirm that the S. de R.L. is the one that actually processes the data of every data subject the notice covers (staff, suppliers and clients) and whether the A.C. needs a notice of its own.
- Address. It says “Distrito Federal” and “Delegación Benito Juárez” (today Ciudad de México and alcaldía). Also, the opening says “piso 21 oficina 38” and item b) “p21-32”: which one is right, and is it still Montecito 38?
- The person in charge of ARCO rights. The original names an individual. It is omitted here: a department or a generic mailbox is better, never a name (the site publishes no directory and no personal emails).
- The email and the website. The original gave an email and a website on another domain; by management decision they are now info@inefam.com, INEFAM's public email, and inefam.com. Confirm that someone handles that mailbox for ARCO requests within the legal deadlines.
- This site's form is missing. The notice would have to declare what the contact page asks for (name, work email, company, type of organization, department, interests and message), what it is used for and who is entrusted with sending it.
- Mixed purposes. The notice mixes staff (employment contracts, “Job interviews”, which only appears among the checkboxes), suppliers and clients. Review whether one notice per type of data subject is better.
- Data on physical characteristics and biometric data. Check whether they are sensitive data under the 2025 law and, if so, the consent they require; the website collects neither.
- Transfers. The original has no section on transfers or processors.
- Authority. If the new notice cites the authority, it is no longer the INAI: it is the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno.
- Cookies. The new site uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. If measurement is added, the notice is updated BEFORE.
- Date. The original does not state its update date; the scan is dated October 20, 2020.
